Ab, Eb, Db and C - spread over different octaves with different instrument voicing - This piece begins with a repeated arpeggiating bass line below a simple echoed melody line. It then becomes a two-part counterpoint with each instrument voice traveling in opposite directions. The two melody voices then resume their echo and all three voices end in a block chord.
