YIELD 10 small meatballs
INGREDIENTS
8 ounces plant-based vegan ground beef (such as Beyond Meat), cold
1 tsp tamari (or soy sauce)
BOWL (whisked together):
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp dry parsley leaves
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano
Pinch of red-pepper flakes (optional)
PREPARATION
1. Add fake meat and tamari to BOWL and mix well with your hands; form ten little hockey pucks — they cook better that way (round ones are a pain to evenly brown).
2. Sauté and then add to pasta of your choice.
