Basic Story:
1. On Sollgell Island (a fictional island, aka Monster Island), a radioactive storm creates some Kamakiras monsters.
2. The Kamakiras monsters dig up an egg which hatches a baby Godzilla.
3. The adult Godzilla arrives and kills two Kamakiras monsters.
4. Baby Godzilla becomes a teen and is called Minilla (aka Minya).
5. Minilla awakens Kumonga, a giant spider.
6. Godzilla and Minilla, after defeating Kumonga, are forced into frozen hibernation by scientists.

Basic Story:
1. By 1999, all monsters have been caught and placed on an island called Monsterland.
2. Communications to the island are suddenly stopped by aliens called Kilaaks.
3. The Kilaaks then send the monsters out from Monsterland to destroy different cities: Godzilla attacks NYC, Rodan attacks Moscow, Mothra attacks Beijing, and Gorosaurus attacks Paris, etc.
4. The Kilaaks monster-controlling facility – which is on the moon – is destroyed by the UN.
5. The Kilaaks then release King Ghidorah.
6. Godzilla and the others (including Kumonga and Manda) defeat King Ghidorah and then return to Monsterland.
