Polled Welsh Black

The Polled Welsh Black is a variety of the Welsh Black. Naturally polled individuals in herds of the Welsh Black have been around since at least the 14th century.

However, it was not until the 1950s that a herd in Merioneth became the foundation stock for making the Polled Welsh Black a recognized breed.
