The Criollo del Golfo is a subtype of Mexican Criollo.
The Criollo del Golfo is raised for beef in the states of Veracruz and the region of Huasteca Tamaulipeca, also called the “south coast”, which borders on the north of Veracruz along the Gulf of Mexico.
