The Criollo de Rodeo is a subtype of Mexican Criollo.
Criollo de Rodeo is an ecotype of Criollo cattle that is produced in the state of Chihuahua and traded to the USA and Canada.
Criollo de Rodeo animals must NOT have:
• zebu characteristics (e.g. big ears)
• other signs of introgression (e.g. the white face of the Hereford)
Thousands of Criollo de Rodeo animals aged 8–20 months are sold annually.
