The Beef Synthetic was one of two composite lines developed at the Kinsella Ranch of the University of Alberta in Canada starting in 1961.
The Beef Synthetic is a combination of:
• the Aberdeen-Angus (37%)
• the Charolais (34%)
• the Galloway (21%)
• the Brown Swiss (5%)
• others (3%)
