Albatinah
(most common name)
local/other name:
• North of Oman (English)
The Albatinah is a small zebu found in the northern part of Oman. Raised in backyards and on farms, it is widely used for meat and milk production.
The Albatinah has a tolerance to parasites and infectious diseases. This breed also adapts well to high ambient temperatures and rough diets, so these factors have less of an impact on their production performance.
The dominant color of the Albatinah is light to dark brown; horns are medium length in males and short in females.
