Alatau - cow - Mongolia

The Alatau (aka Alatauskaya, Ала-Тау корова; Ala-Tau in English; Алатау in Mongolian) is the Russian name that Mongolia uses for their imported population of Ala-Tau cattle.

The Alatau is also the most common name used in Kazakhstan where they are prized for their high milk yield and good meat characteristics.
