The Apulian Podolian (aka Podolica and Podolica italiana and Razza Podolica italiana in Italian) is thought to be influenced by the importation of East European Podolian cattle into Italy starting in the 14th century.
There are four different strains:
Podolian cattle breeds have calves born with a fawn to reddish coat that turns grey or white after about five months of maturing.
