Zwartbont Fries-Hollands - heifer calf - The Netherlands

The Zwartbont Fries-Hollands (aka Dutch-Friesian and Black Pied Dutch-Friesian in English) has no Holstein blood and is bred as a dual-purpose dairy/beef breed. Originally the Friesian coat was mostly red - with and without white markings.

zwart = black
bont = pied (when used as an adjective)
bont = fur (when used as a noun)
